This is my technology blog. I also run Lazyllama but have set up this site for all my technical notes and thoughts in order to keep them away from the rest of my blog entries.
I own a black Apple MacBook (Core Duo version) and two Apple Powerbooks; a 12″ Powerbook and Titanium Powerbook, as well as a small Windows machine running Ubuntu Linux under VMware Workstation. My web server is a white-label 1U server running ESXi with FreeBSD 7.0 and Ubuntu virtual machines. It’s hosted at Telehouse with Exonetric.
Over the past 20 years I’ve worked for a telco, a couple of ISPs and a mobile startup , working with Windows (most versions), Solaris, Linux, and a variety of other systems.
I currently spend my working time with VMware vSphere virtualization at a managed service provider/hosting business. I’m a VMware Certified Professional (VCP) on V3 and vSphere 4.
